just (more) stuff

as totally random as this post may appear to be, it has a purpose, maybe only to me, but it’s there. oh, and it’s not one on it’s own: it’s a sequel to last week’s post, and there will be at least one more.

you see, the thing is, these objects have found their way back home after having been left behind and later on boxed up and wandering about from storage to storage. and although it is only stuff, it is that stuff that i just couldn’t give away, and believe me i have given tons away in the last 4 years of my redefining the place called “home” and just life as i knew it.

so i present to thee more stuff i was able to fit in my luggage and bring back from years gone by:

my polaroid camera! …yay! i’ve had it for years and can’t wait to get some film and have big a take some shots.

a traditional portuguese bandstand with musicians made in ceramic, a gift from good friends… some of the little guys broke, but i am hoping it’ll be an easy fix.

image

i love ballet and i love ballerinas… this porcelain sculpture was a very special gift, given to me by a very special lady. and… it made it back intact!!

i love this perfume bottle a friend brought back from morocco… handmade by local artisans!

just another dear (birthday) gift from a dear friend

my little wooden box, made in india.
